Lake faced Green in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Blue Streaks fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 5-4. The Blue Streaks' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Aubrey Eisele was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI. Olivia Brown was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 16-5. As for Green, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-4.
