Mountain Range lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Josieraye Running Wolf, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Delilah Lucero, who scored 17 points.
Mountain Range's defeat was their ninth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 6-6. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 27.7 points per game. As for Loveland, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-7.
Mountain Range will be playing in front of their home fans against Monarch at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Monarch has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Loveland, they will head out on the road to face off against Fossil Ridge at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Fossil Ridge presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Loveland in Colorado (Fossil Ridge is ranked 73rd, while Loveland is ranked 203rd).
