The Green Level Gators put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 61-51 win over Garner.
Green Level's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Israel Eatman, who scored 19 points along with six assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Eatman has scored all season. Tye Cain was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five assists and two steals.
Green Level's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-0. As for Garner, their loss dropped their record down to 9-6.
Green Level will head out on the road to square off against Middle Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Middle Creek focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up eight last Friday. As for Garner, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Southeast Raleigh at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Southeast Raleigh knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past 11 matchups -- so hopefully Garner likes a good challenge.
