Bishop McCort extended their winning streak to four on Thursday, bumping them up to 11-7. Everything went their way against the Chestnut Ridge Lions as they made off with a 7-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Crushers, who have now won eight matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

As for Chestnut Ridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-5-1. The contest marked the first time this year in which they were not able to get on the board.

For Chestnut Ridge's part, they got a good showing from Logan Pletcher, who pitched 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

Coming up, Bishop McCort will venture away from home to take on Greater Johnstown at 6:15 p.m. on Saturday. As for Chestnut Ridge, they have already played their next game, a 7-6 victory against Penns Valley Area on the 8th.
