Port Townsend fell to Vashon Island 21-27 the last time the two teams met; this time around, they exacted some revenge. Port Townsend made easy work of Vashon Island on Friday and carried off a 40-13 win. Port Townsend were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
The victory bumped Port Townsend's record up to 2-3. Vashon Island are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-5.
Next week Port Townsend take on Bellevue Christian at 6:00 PM. These teams both are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games. As for Vashon Island, they will face off against Klahowya.
