The Cartersville Hurricanes waltzed into their game on Tuesday with three straight wins but they left with four. They came out on top against Hiram by a score of 58-45. 58 seems to be a good number for Cartersville as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
Cartersville got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Senai Camper out in front who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Camper has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Nayel Camper, who scored 14 points along with four steals.
Cartersville is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 11-9 record this season. As for Hiram, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-10.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Cass the next time they take the court. Hiram will head out to face Cass at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Cartersville will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
