The Lakeside Knights can now show off 11 landslide victories after their most recent contest on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 80-53 win over Clark Fork on the road. Given Lakeside's advantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked 34th, while Clark Fork is ranked 102nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Tyson Charley, who scored 27 points along with eight assists and eight rebounds. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Brutis Sijohn, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine assists.
Lakeside's victory bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Clark Fork, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5.
Lakeside will head out on the road to challenge Wallace at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lakeside knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past 15 games -- so hopefully Wallace likes a good challenge. As for Clark Fork, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 75-31 win vs. Kootenai on the 10th.
