Tyler Evans was his usual excellent self, scoring 15 points along with eight rebounds and two steals for Cristo Rey Tampa. Evans is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Isiah Carrol, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds.
Tampa Bay Christian Academy's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-2. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 29.6 points per game. As for Cristo Rey Tampa, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-7.
