Heritage is 0-10 against Skyview since March of 2019 but things could change on Monday. The Timberwolves will be playing in front of their home fans against the Storm at 4:30 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Monday.
On Friday, Heritage made easy work of Washougal and carried off a 21-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Timberwolves, who have now won three matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.
The team relied heavily on Piper Gough, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylie Thomas, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with four runs, one double, and one RBI.
Heritage always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .639. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Washougal only posted an OBP of .300.
Meanwhile, Skyview waltzed into their game on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They were the clear victors by an 18-2 margin over the Thunder. The game snapped a strange streak: the last four times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.
Symaran Sivaivai made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over 4.1 innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.
In other batting news, Dylan Yates was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in May of 2025. Another player making a difference was Audrey Jackson, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs and one RBI.
Heritage now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Skyview, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.
Monday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Heritage hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .451. However, it's not like Skyview struggles in that department as they've averaged .407. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Heritage might still be hurting after the 13-3 defeat they got from Skyview in their previous meeting back in April of 2025. Will the Timberwolves have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other softball content.
