The Ross Rams's game on Friday was all tied up 25-25 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 48-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of Franklin. Ross lost against Franklin in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 66-64 score last time.
Franklin's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Carter Black, who scored 18 points. Tito Harrison was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with five rebounds.
Ross has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. As for Franklin, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.
Ross will finish 2023 at home by hosting Taylor at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Franklin will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Clinton-Massie at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Clinton-Massie is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
