Glades Day suffered their biggest loss since November 28, 2023 on Thursday. They were beaten by Moore Haven 67-28. Glades Day was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-21.
Meanwhile, Sheridan Hills Christian can now show off 13 landslide victories after their most recent contest on Thursday. They blew past Cushman 80-47 at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Sheridan Hills Christian has posted since December 21, 2023.
Sheridan Hills Christian relied on the efforts of Elias Feliz, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 14 rebounds, and Micah Smith, who scored 15 points along with nine rebounds and seven blocks. Smith hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of AJ Seay, who scored nine points along with five assists and three steals.
Glades Day dropped their record down to 1-13 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 28.6 points per game. As for Sheridan Hills Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season.
