The Wiregrass Ranch Bulls can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 49-27 margin over East Lake. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Wiregrass Ranch also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Claire Kelley had a dynamite game for Wiregrass Ranch, scoring 14 points along with five assists and five steals. Kelley has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 12 times she's played. Anabella Nieves was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with three steals.
Wiregrass Ranch's win bumped their record up to 8-11. As for East Lake, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season.
Wiregrass Ranch will take on the Wildcats at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. Forest has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. East Lake's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Hurricanes at 5:30 p.m. on February 5th.
