The Roosevelt Teddies entered their tilt with the North Community Polars with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Roosevelt walked away with a 56-47 victory over North Community on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Roosevelt also won the last time the pair played back in January.
It was another big night for Olivia Wren, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 12 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Tamara Behl was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Roosevelt's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-6. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.5 points per game. As for North Community, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-8.
Roosevelt will head out on the road to square off against Como Park at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Roosevelt focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Tuesday. North Community does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
