First Baptist entered their tilt with Prestonwood Christian North on Friday with nine consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with ten. They breezed by Prestonwood Christian North to the tune of 79-35. The Saints have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 23 matches by 27 points or more this season.

First Baptist had a senior duo take command as Meredith Quinn dropped a double-double on 30 points and ten rebounds and Georgia Alford dropped a double-double on 20 points and 15 boards. That makes it six consecutive games in which Quinn has scored at least a third of First Baptist's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kolbie Gillispie, who posted 13 points.

First Baptist smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive rebounds in four consecutive games.

First Baptist pushed their record up to 29-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 22.4 points over those games. As for Prestonwood Christian North, their loss dropped their record down to 14-14.

Looking ahead, First Baptist will face off against Brook Hill at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Brook Hill will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something First Baptist surely won't give up without a fight. Prestonwood Christian North does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
