The Antlers Bearcats suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They took a serious blow against Wright City, falling 83-32. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Antlers in their matchups with Wright City: they've now lost eight in a row.
It was another big night for Madison Carter, who scored 20 points along with seven rebounds and six steals for Wright City. Carter hasn't dropped below 15points for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Shalan Haley, who scored 18 points.
Antlers has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Wright City, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 19-2.
Antlers will head out on the road to challenge Battiest at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wright City, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Valliant at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Valliant will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings (they are ranked 246th, while Wright City is ranked 33rd).
