Football Recap: Palmetto Beats South Dade for Their Fourth Straight Win

Palmetto extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Andre Bailey. The Panthers claimed a resounding 45-7 win over the South Dade Buccaneers for which the team can thank Bailey, who threw for 171 yards and three TDs, and also rushed for 95 yards and one score. His longest rush was for an incredible 95 yards.

Palmetto didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Wynton Jones Jr. and Kevin White Jr.. Palmetto got some further help from Armond Weston: he made seven total tackles (4.0 for loss).

Palmetto's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for South Dade, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-4.

Palmetto has already played their next contest, a 40-0 win against Homestead on the 6th. As for South Dade, they will take on Miami at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Buccaneers will be up against the Stingarees' rather soft defense (which has allowed 33.8 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
