Solorio hasn't had much luck against Brooks recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Sun Warriors will welcome the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. Brooks took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Solorio, who comes in off a win.
Solorio took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 7-4 win over Jones. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Sun Warriors as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Solorio got a great performance from Tony Bautista as he pitched five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Bautista has become a key player for the Sun Warriors: the team is 3-1 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 3-10 otherwise.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Keiber Hernandez, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Jaydiel Salgado, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Meanwhile, Brooks was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 16-4 to Simeon. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Eagles have suffered against the Wolverines since May 19, 2021.
Brooks saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ameer Rule, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI and one double.
Brooks' defeat dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Solorio, their win bumped their record up to 6-11.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Wednesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Solorio has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.7 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Brooks struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Solorio came out on top in a nail-biter against Brooks in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, sneaking past 5-3. Do the Sun Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
