The Horizon Science Academy Dragons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They took a 66-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of Conneaut. Horizon Science Academy has not had much luck with Conneaut recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Chance Loomis went supernova for Conneaut, scoring 27 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of J.R. Hutchison, who scored 10 points along with 6 rebounds.
Horizon Science Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Conneaut, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Horizon Science Academy will take on Lawrence Upper at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Conneaut, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Northwestern at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
