Tensas Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 315th in Louisiana, while Woodlawn Prep is ranked 144th in Mississippi).
Last Friday, Tensas Academy suffered a tough 47-27 defeat at the hands of Wilkinson County Christian Academy. Tensas Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 29-6.
Meanwhile, Woodlawn Prep entered their tilt with Wilkinson County Christian Academy with nine consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with ten. Woodlawn Prep took their contest on the road on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 57-25 victory over Wilkinson County Christian Academy. Woodlawn Prep has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matches by 22 points or more this season.
Woodlawn Prep's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cole Sinclair, who scored 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Drayson Patterson, who scored 12 points.
Tensas Academy's defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Woodlawn Prep, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season.
Tensas Academy was dealt a bruising 72-40 loss at the hands of Woodlawn Prep in their previous meeting on January 9th. The contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Tensas Academy was down 49-21.
