The Summit Christian Academy Warriors will be playing at home against Assumption Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Assumption Academy took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Summit Christian Academy, who comes in off a win.
Summit Christian Academy scored the most points they've had all season to find success last Thursday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 78-26 win over MICAH Christian. That 52 points margin sets a new team best for Summit Christian Academy this season.
Braden Wheeler was his usual excellent self, scoring 20 points along with nine rebounds. Payton Hammond was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Assumption Academy, who are still winless after their fifth contest. They took a 51-33 bruising from La Salette Academy last Saturday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Assumption Academy has scored all season.
The win makes it two in a row for Summit Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 7-5. As for Assumption Academy, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-5.
Summit Christian Academy beat Assumption Academy 63-50 in their previous matchup back in November of 2023. Will Summit Christian Academy repeat their success, or does Assumption Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
