Basketball Recap: Central Pointe Christian Academy National's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Central Pointe Christian Academy National extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Jayshlynn Vega. The Central Pointe Christian Academy National White Tigers skirted past Varsity Opponent 63-60 thanks in part to Vega, who posted 15 points and four steals. What's more, she also racked up four assists, the most she's had since back in January.

Another player making a difference was Leya Landin, who had seven points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played.

Central Pointe Christian Academy National has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

Central Pointe Christian Academy National will square off against Port St. Lucie at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
