After a string of three wins, the Lebanon Yellowjackets's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They suffered a rough 59-39 defeat at the hands of Parkview. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Lebanon has scored all season.
When it comes to explaining why Lebanon lost, one person who can't be blamed is Wyatt Carr. Despite the final result, he scored 15 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Noah Boggs, who scored six points.
Lebanon struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only two offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Lebanon's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-4. As for Parkview, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lebanon will take on Hartville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hartville is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. As for Parkview, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Branson at 7:00 p.m.
