Saturday just wasn't the day for Brennan's offense. They fell just short of the Burbank Bulldogs by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. The Bears' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Brennan's loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Burbank, their victory bumped their record up to 13-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brennan will square off against Taft at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bears are facing the Raiders at the right time seeing as the Raiders are stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Burbank, they will challenge Sam Houston at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hurricanes have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 16 runs per game on average), something the Bulldogs will no doubt try to take advantage of.
