The North Marion Colts will face off against the Trinity Catholic Celtics at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. North Marion will be strutting in after a win while Trinity Catholic will be coming in after a loss.
North Marion barely beat Providence School the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. North Marion put the hurt on Providence School with a sharp 11-4 victory on Wednesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Colts as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

The team relied heavily on Harper Galavis, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was John Collins, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.
Galavis wasn't the only one working in the hit department: North Marion kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. North Marion is 2-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Trinity Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of Englewood. That's two games in a row now that the Celtics have lost by just one run.
Trinity Catholic also got a good showing from Luke Cheshire, who pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
On the hitting side, Trinity Catholic saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Wyatt North, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Brian Rudman also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Trinity Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for North Marion, their victory bumped their record up to 7-9.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. North Marion has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8.4 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Trinity Catholic struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.1 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
North Marion beat Trinity Catholic 5-1 when the teams last played back in February. Will North Marion repeat their success, or does Trinity Catholic has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
