Mumford never let their opponents score on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Somerville Yeguas with a sharp 22-0 win. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matches by eight runs or more this season.

Mumford's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 24-5. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Somerville, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.

Coming up, Mumford will challenge Richards at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.08 runs per game on average), something the Mustangs will no doubt try to take advantage of.
