Despite the loss, Escanaba had strong showings from Brody Ison, who gained 70 total yards, and Lennox Peacock, who picked up 74 receiving yards and one score.
The win was the third in a row for Big Rapids, bringing their record up to 10-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 42.7 points over those games. As for Escanaba, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-2 record.
