The Freeport Red Devils will be playing at home against the Farmingdale Dalers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Freeport posted their biggest victory since December 9, 2023 on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 65-41 margin over Oceanside. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Freeport has posted against Oceanside since February 1, 2017.
Meanwhile, Farmingdale had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They took down Academy Charter 62-44.
Freeport's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-8. As for Farmingdale, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.
Freeport came up short against Farmingdale in their previous meeting back in January of 2020, falling 50-44. Can Freeport avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
