Baker had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26.3 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 60-40 margin over the Central Jaguars. The Gators have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 20 points or more this season.

Baker's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Peyton Ellis, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 boards. Those 20 points gave Ellis a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Cole Hardin, who went 5 of 12 en route to 15 points and six rebounds.

Baker smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in seven consecutive matches.

As for Central, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.
