Carolina Academy entered their tilt with Lake City on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by an 18-7 margin over the Panthers. The Bobcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by six runs or more this season.

Carolina Academy pushed their record up to 12-5 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Lake City, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Looking ahead, Carolina Academy will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Dillon Christian at 5:30 p.m. The Bobcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Warriors have averaged an impressive 7.7 runs per game this season.
