Nate Kelley Dazzles in Scottsbluff Win
Starting off the list is Scottsbluff's Nate Kelley, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Kelley rushed for 122 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries, and also threw for 71 yards and a touchdown. His longest rush was for an impressive 56 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
Kelley and Scottsbluff are taking a road trip to challenge York at 6:55 p.m. on Friday. The Bearcats got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Dukes, probably because Kelley had a solid game then too: he rushed for 135 yards and a touchdown. Can he match (or beat) that performance?

Cesar Cano's rushing tear continued on Friday as he dropped his fourth-straight game with 110+ rushing yards. He rushed for 169 yards and a touchdown. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making three total tackles and defending two passes.
Lexington's defeat was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-7. Cano and Lexington will challenge McCook at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Tucker Synek Delivers Electric Performance Vs Lexington
Tucker Synek posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He threw for 160 yards and two touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes, and also rushed for 60 yards on only five carries.
Synek and Hastings will take on Gering at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The contest will pit Synek up against the Bulldogs' star QB Rece Knight. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.

Rounding off our Top Five is Barron Williams of Gering. Williams picked up 47 receiving yards and a touchdown.
