The LaConner Braves stacked a tenth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 64-11 victory over Northwest. The win was nothing new for LaConner as they're now sitting on four straight.
LaConner found their leader in underclassman Maeve Mccormick, who scored nine points along with eight steals and six assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Izzy Villard, who scored nine points along with four steals.
LaConner is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Northwest, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-7.
LaConner will head out on the road to face off against Mount Vernon Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northwest, they will be playing at home against Eastside Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Washington (Eastside Prep is ranked 308th, while Northwest is ranked 332nd).
