The Peabody-Burns Warriors can finally bid farewell to their eight-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They really took it to Wakefield for the full four quarters, racking up a 55-26 win on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Peabody-Burns has managed all season.
Peabody-Burns found their leader in underclassman Jameson Miles, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds. Miles hasn't dropped below ten rebounds for three straight games. Aiden Hurst was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.
Peabody-Burns' victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-15. As for Wakefield, their defeat was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-16.
