After a string of four wins, the Turpin Cardinals's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They suffered a rough 60-39 loss at the hands of Texhoma. Turpin has struggled against Texhoma recently, as their game on Friday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Turpin still got an impressive performance from Bryson Parker, who scored 17 points. Parker scored a full 43.6% of Turpin's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gunner Post, who scored 7 points.
Turpin's defeat dropped their record down to 4-1. As for Texhoma, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
Turpin won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Merritt at 5:00 p.m. on December 9th. As for Texhoma, they will head out on the road to face off against Turpin at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
