After flying high against Crestline last Saturday, Mt. Gilead came back down to earth. The Mt. Gilead Indians took a 72-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Northmor Golden Knights on Saturday. Another player making a difference was Rowan Fitzpatrick, who went 7 of 17 en route to 21 points and six rebounds.
Jax Wenger was a one-man wrecking crew for Northmor as he went 12 of 18 on his way to 31 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. The matchup was Wenger's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Trevor Brubaker, who posted 19 points in addition to six rebounds and five assists.
