The Inspiration Academy Lions will take on the Calvary Christian Warriors at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Both teams are still undefeated (Inspiration Academy has 14 wins  dating back to last season, while Calvary Christian has three).
It was a proper cat-fight when  Inspiration Academy faced off against Palmetto on Tuesday. Inspiration Academy came out on top against Palmetto by a score of  9-4.
 Elle Hildreth and  Emma Szabo were a major factor no matter where they played. On the mound,  Hildreth   struck out nine batters over  five innings while giving up  three earned  (and one unearned) runs off   seven  hits. Meanwhile,  Szabo   pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. Hildreth has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  tossed less than nine  strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. At bat,  Hildreth  scored a  run while  getting on base  in two of her four plate appearances, while  Szabo  scored a  run while going 2-for-4.

 In other batting news,  Aubrey Osborne and  Alexis McInerney did most of the damage at the plate:  Osborne  went 1-for-4 with one  home run and three  RBI, while  McInerney  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-4. Those  three  RBI gave  Osborne a new career-high.  Avery Bouquin was another key player,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 1-for-4.
Meanwhile, Calvary Christian made easy work of Newsome  on Tuesday and carried off  a  12-2 victory.
Calvary Christian got a  massive  performance out of  Braylee Rano, who  went 1-for-2 with one  home run, two  runs,  and one  stolen base. Another player making a difference was  Ashlynn Loftus, who  went 2-for-3 with one  home run and three  RBI.
 Calvary Christian  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .559. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Newsome only posted  an  OBP of  .360.
 Inspiration Academy's win was  their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 4-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs over those games. As for Calvary Christian, their record now sits at 3-0.
 Inspiration Academy skirted past Calvary Christian  2-0 in their previous meeting  back in March of 2024. Does  Inspiration Academy have another victory up their sleeve, or will Calvary Christian turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
