Emerson Waldorf was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Cristo Rey Research Triangle apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.
Cristo Rey Research Triangle's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Londynn Campbell, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Campbell has scored all season. Yari Fortune was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.
Emerson Waldorf's loss was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Cristo Rey Research Triangle, their victory ended a 13-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-10.
Emerson Waldorf does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Cristo Rey Research Triangle is on the road again on Tuesday and plays Carolina M at 6:30 p.m. on February 13th.
