The Cicero Prep Academy Centurions snuck past the Fort Thomas Apaches with a 46-40 win. Winning may never get old, but the Centurions sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Several Apaches players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Runyon Kinney, who posted nine points. Kinney is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last five games he's played. Channing Wilson was another key player, putting up 12 points and four steals.
Cicero Prep Academy's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-10. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.7 points over those games. As for Fort Thomas, the loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 20-11.
Cicero Prep Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 59-39 defeat against Valley Lutheran on the 8th. Fort Thomas does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
