After flying high against Williamsburg on Thursday, Marion came back down to earth. The Wolves took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Clear Creek-Amana Clippers on Friday. The Wolves' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Marion's loss dropped their record down to 17-5. As for Clear Creek-Amana, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-11 record this season.

While Marion had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
