The Badger Braves came tearing into  Thursday's  contest with five straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.2 points) and they left with even more momentum. They skirted past John F. Kennedy Catholic  53-51. For Badger, this counts as revenge for the   66-53 loss the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another  back in November of 2023.
 It was another big night for  Katie Grexa, who  almost  dropped  a double-double on nine points and 17  rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to  steals, as she's  now  grabbed two or more in the last 11 games she's  played.  Brianna Huscroft was another key contributor,  scoring 12 points along with seven  rebounds and two  steals.
 John F. Kennedy Catholic lost  despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being   Ava Darney, who  dropped  a double-double on 16 points and ten  rebounds. Darney has been hot recently, having posted two or more  steals the last six times she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Addy Odille, who  scored six points along with ten  rebounds and five  steals.
 Even though they lost, John F. Kennedy Catholic  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 15  offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Badger only pulled down eight  offensive rebounds.
 Badger pushed their record up to 18-2 with that  win, which was their 20th straight  at home dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.7 points per game. As for John F. Kennedy Catholic, their defeat  ended a three-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 13-4.
 Badger will look to defend their home court  on Thursday against the Red Dragons at 7:00  p.m. As for John F. Kennedy Catholic, they will head out on the road to  take on  the Spartans at 7:00  p.m.  on Monday.
