There's no place like home for the ISchool of Lewisville Cougar, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Tuesday. They took down Creating Young Minds Academy 73-59 on Thursday. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
ISchool of Lewisville's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but David Iweze led the charge by scoring 17 points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jaylen Lawal, who scored 17 points along with six assists and five rebounds.
ISchool of Lewisville pushed their record up to 10-11 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home.
ISchool of Lewisville will take on Varsity Opponent at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Creating Young Minds Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
