The Round Mountain Knights waltzed into their match on Friday with four straight wins but they left with five. They enjoyed a cozy 55-39 win over Indian Springs. That's another feather in the cap for Round Mountain, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Round Mountain got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Blake Bullington out in front who scored 24 points along with eight steals and five rebounds. Bullington is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed five or more in the last 11 games he's played. Keiran Swafford was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 25 points and ten rebounds.
Several Thunderbirds players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Vance Dilger, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 16 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Stone-Catozza, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds.
Round Mountain is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. As for Indian Springs, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-10.
