Baseball Recap: Kingston Extends Winning Streak to Four

Kingston got themselves on the board against Lindsay on Thursday, but Lindsay never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Leopards with a sharp 12-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Redskins, who have now won six games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Hayden Seeney was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Seeney was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2.

In other batting news, Brock Rumer was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Blane Henry was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.

Kingston was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .412. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Kingston, bringing their record up to 7-4. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games. As for Lindsay, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kingston will take on Valliant at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lindsay, they will challenge Washington at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
