Cascade Christian extended the longest winning streak in 3A Southern Cascade this week by beating Rainier, 35-0. This was the team's seventh consecutive win.
St. Mary's took down Chemawa Indian 48-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when Illinois Valley takes on Cascade Christian. The Cougars' offense has racked up 24 points this season, earning them the top spot in the league, while Jon Gettman's team has allowed only 41 on the year.
Lakeview/Paisley made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 10,175 from 11,196. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 52-20 victory over Illinois Valley last week.
