The Marlboro Mustangs will look to defend their home field on Saturday against the Middletown North Lions at 1:00 p.m. Marlboro will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak (dating back to last season) alive.
Last Friday, Marlboro was the victim of a rough 24-3 defeat at the hands of Rumson-Fair Haven.
Meanwhile, Middletown North was able to grind out a solid win over Brick Township on Thursday, taking the game 17-10. The win made it back-to-back wins for Middletown North.
Middletown North's win bumped their season record to 4-3 while Marlboro's defeat dropped theirs to 6-1.
Marlboro didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Middletown North in their previous matchup back in November of 2021, but they still walked away with a 12-6 victory. Does Marlboro have another victory up their sleeve, or will Middletown North turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
