The Liberty Lancers won the last time they faced the Harrison Panthers, and things went their way on Monday too. Liberty breezed by Harrison at home to the tune of 55-15. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Liberty has managed all season.
Liberty had a senior duo take command as Jacie Bunck scored 20 points along with eight rebounds and Alyssa Gardner scored 11 points along with six assists and six rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Bunck has scored at least 25% of Liberty's points. Another player making a difference was Ava Dawes, who scored seven points along with three steals.
The win makes it two in a row for Liberty and bumps their season record up to 3-4. As for Harrison, they bumped their record down to 1-2 with that loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Liberty will challenge Lewis-Palmer at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Harrison, they will be playing at home against Pueblo Central at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
