Browerville is 2-8 against the Tigers since January of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Browerville Tigers will be playing at home against the Pine River-Backus Tigers at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Tuesday, Browerville took a serious blow against the Cardinals, falling 76-42.
Meanwhile, Pine River-Backus pushed their score all the way to 60 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. The match between them and Park Rapids wasn't particularly close, with Pine River-Backus falling 74-60. Pine River-Backus has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Browerville's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Pine River-Backus, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.
Everything went Browerville's way against the Tigers in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 as the Tigers made off with a 65-41 win. Will Browerville repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
