Andrew Esposito's Big Game Leads New Canaan over Darien
New Canaan picked up their seventh consecutive win on Thursday thanks in part to Andrew Esposito. Nobody could stop Esposito as he rushed for 126 yards and four touchdowns on only eight carries. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 76 yards.
If the past is any indication, Esposito could be in store for another big game when he takes on Maloney on Friday. Back in September (the last time Esposito saw the Spartans), he picked up 271 receiving yards and five touchdowns.

Michael Smith and Co. Win Seventh in a Row
Michael Smith was instrumental in extending New Canaan's winning streak to seven on Thursday. Smith turned in nothing short of a gem, making 13 total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defending three passes. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in rushing yards (59).
Smith and New Canaan will face off against Maloney at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rams got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Spartans, probably because Smith had a solid game then too: he made four total tackles. Can he match (or beat) that performance?
