Another player making a difference was Natalie Pineda, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Sam Rayburn's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-14. As for Pasadena Memorial, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 15-11 record this season.

As for Pasadena Memorial, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against South Houston at 1:00 p.m. South Houston will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 1248th, while Pasadena Memorial is ranked 478th).
