Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Albuquerque). They never let the West Mesa Mustangs get on the board and left with  a   12-0  win  on Wednesday.  Miley Aguilar was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.
 Albuquerque used a slightly different lineup for their bout with West Mesa. And. Eliana Perez played for 30 minutes having averaged 13.8 this season.  Brynn Heatly made the most of the opportunity,  putting up one  assist  A few more games like that and  she might be seeing even more time going forward.
Albuquerque's victory bumped their record up to 4-5-1. As for West Mesa,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-7.
 Coming up, Albuquerque will venture away from home to  face off against Albuquerque Academy  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Albuquerque Academy will roll in looking for their  seventh straight  win, something Albuquerque surely won't give up without a fight. As for West Mesa, they will take on Rio Grande at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday.
