Cornerstone Academy. He struck out five batters this week.
The Cougars had a successful week, as they won two total games to lead the league. Cornerstone Academy beat
Peniel Baptist Academy 15-1 and
Ocala Christian 11-10.
Seven Rivers Christian's pitching was especially stingy this week, allowing six hits and ten walks to lead the league in both categories.
St. John Lutheran stole 20 bases this week, adding to its league-leading 58 steals on the year.
There were five hitters that batted over .400 in the league this week. They were led by Kameron Kinsman, who hit .714 this week (5-for-7).
The week's strikeout crown belonged to
Jordan Salamone, who turned in seven Ks for the Saints. With 15 strikeouts this year so far, he ranks second in the league.
Dagen drove in four runners as the Cougars defeated the Crusaders 11-10 on Friday. He went 2-for-5 and scored one run.
